Launch of 2014 Christmas Toy Appeal

JRS Ireland's Christmas Toy Appeal is back for 2014 and we're hoping to deliver more than 350 toys this year to children living in Direct Provision.

Please donate a new, unwrapped toy by December 17th and help JRS to give a special gift to the children of asylum seekers living in Ireland.

Every child deserves a present at Christmas.

Christmas can be a particularly challenging and lonely time of year for families living in Direct Provision.  With asylum seekers prohibited from seeking employment and forced to rely on a weekly allowance of €19.10 per week, parents can struggle to provide toys for their children. 

Donated gifts will be delivered to children aged 0-12 living in Direct Provison and any financial donations will be used to buy toys or to assist in the running of JRS Ireland projects for children.
